Homeopathic Care for Cats and Dogs

Homeopathic Care for Cats and Dogs by Don Hamilton, DVM, is an essential read for anyone interested in gaining
extensive and valuable knowledge on the safe, natural way of treating their companion pets with homeopathy. If you want understanding of
homeopathic treatments for your cat or dog, this is well worth the read. This gem has been in our personal library for some time. 482 pages, softbound.

This book goes into great depth on the treatment of homeopathy on animals. While it is highly recommended reading
if you are interested in this area of natural medicine, it is quite a read. As with homeopathy in general, the more you read, the
more you may find yourself confused over the correct homeopathic remedy. (This is why many of the over-the-counter homeopathic remedies
are made with several ingredients to treat one symptom -- if one ingredient does not work, the potencies are not that which will cause any harm.)

In this book, you'll learn about:
- Historical development of homeopathy and general introduction to homeopathic medicine

- The nature of disease

- The nature of cure

- Where to start when you have a sick companion

- Using homeopathy at home

- Skin and ears - infections and eruptions (itching, hotspots, acne, mange, bites and stings, ringworm, ear mites, foxtails and foreign bodies,
aural hematomas, fly strike)

- Mouth, gum and teeth (gingivitis and mouth inflammation, ranula, abscessed or decaying teeth)

- Digestive system (regurgitation and vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, bloat)

- Respiratory system, nose and sinuses (nasal discharge, nosebleed, coughing, lung problems)

- Eyes (conjunctivits, hypopyon - pus behind the cornea, corneal ulcers, entropion - inversion of the eyelids, injuries to the eyes

- Skin and ears - infections and eruptions (itching, hotspots, acne, mange, bites and stings, ringworm, ear mites, foxtails and foreign bodies,
aural hematomas, fly strike)

- Urinary system (urinary system disease, cystitis, urethral obstruction and catheterization, kidney failure, urinary
incontinence, incontinence from injury)

- Musculoskeletal system (arthritis, hip dysplasia, spondylitis, slipped disc, broken bones, sprains, strains, torn muscles)

- Nervous system (degenerative myelopathy, coonhound paralysis, tick paralysis, convulsions, injuries to the brain and spinal cord

- Reproductive system

- And MUCH more (it's true!)
