Hemp Cat Collars

Why hemp for pets?
A small Canadian company, Sleeping Dogs Studio started making hemp dog collars for a friend's dog who is allergic to leather and synthetic collars.
He would lose his hair and have to go on antibiotics to heal the rash around his neck. He now wears a hemp collar that has kept him out of the vet's office for years!
Many dogs and cats have common allergies. Hemp collars are not only breathable but soften with use, making for a very comfortable yet durable collar.
Hemp is a great alternative, both for animals and for the environment. This fast growing plant is naturally inhospitable to pests and thrives without
the use of pesticides. Hemp is the strongest natural fiber in the world and a greater production of it would create a healthier planet.

Sizing your cat's neck for a collar
Unlike our Beastie Bands, which are cut-to-fit and very stretchy, our hemp cat collars are adjustable from 7-11 inches -- which may not fit all cats. If you currently do not have a well-fitted collar, then wrap a piece of yarn around your cat's neck and then measure the yarn's length to determine whether it falls within the 7-11" range. A properly fitted cat collar will allow enough room for your finger to slip comfortably between the collar and your cat.
