What Exactly Are SBOs And Are They Safe?
Soil Based Organisms (SBOs) are living microrganisms residing in soil. They serve many important functions both
for plants and animals. By deacidifying the soil and suppressing excess growth of yeasts, fungi and other microrganisms, through their production of
powerful enzymes, SBOs are conditioning the soil for better plant metabolism. The same process goes for the intestinal tract of animals. As far as
safety is concerned, numerous microbiological organisms are approved for human consumption. Acidophilus is the most well known. But many others are
involved in the process of making cheese, wine, beer, etc. Microbiological agents are classified as Class 1, 2 or 3. Only Class 1 agents, such as acidophilus,
are approved for human consumption. All the strains of SBOs in Pet Flora are Class 1 agents.
How SBOs Can Keep Your Pet Healthy
Commercial pet foods create large amounts of unsafe acids. Animals instinctively try to counteract these acids by grazing on grass and
