- Feline Rescue - This site has articles, foster care programs and information on almost any subject related to cats. Also offers links to shelters, including breed specific and special need, throughout the country.
- Feline Veterinary Emergency Assistance - A nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization that provides financial assistance to cat and kitten guardians who are unable to afford veterinary services to save their companions when life-threatening illness or injury strikes.
- The Humane Society of the United States - Promoting the protection of all animals.
- In Memory of Magic - Dedicated to insure that no companion animal has to be euthanized simply because their caretaker is financially challenged.
- Pet Finder - A national organization with a website devoted to helping animal rescue groups place animals.
- The PetWork - Features more than 3,000 links to shelters, rescue groups, pet and other animal organizations, and a variety of pet resources and services. New links are added weekly.
- Veterinary Botanical Medicine Association - A group of veterinarians and herbalists dedicated to developing responsible herbal practice by encouraging research and education, strengthening industry relations, keeping herbal tradition alive as a valid information source and increasing professional acceptance of herbal medicine for animals.
- United Animal Network - Best known for its work in rescuing and fostering animals during disasters. This site also includes articles promoting animal welfare.
