- Pueblo Humane Society - A group of volunteers who raise and allocate
funds to support the various animal welfare groups in the community.

- Pueblo Collie/Sheltie Rescue - Founded in 1979, is a tax-exempt, volunteer-operated organization.
We help collies, collie-mixes, shelties, sheltie-mixes, and occasional other breeds and mixes that need our assistance. Our rescue dogs live in foster homes, receive thorough
vet care and are adopted out after a careful screening process. We help between 150 and 200 dogs a year, which come to us from Colorado and other states. Our adopters also
come from Colorado and other states. We do not ship dogs. Prospective adopters must come in person to meet the right dog. Our goal is to make a perfect match between dog
and family. PCSR is a member of the Denver All Breed Rescue Network. We have been certified as a sound rescue agency by the State of Colorado.
