- The Sylvester Foundation Animal Rescue - In March, 2005
the state did not renew their lease and they have been in temporary locations since then and actively seeking a new
permanent location. Their programs include along with their animal rescue and rehab, an extensive program for
children and seniors which involve compassion training and edible gardening.
