formerly known as Kent County Border Collie Rescue (KCBCR). We are a not-for-profit organization that is run by volunteers. Fundamentally, Mid-Atlantic Border Collie Rescue
is a haven for Border Collies and dogs of the Herding group that have been discarded, neglected, abandoned or stray. Many of these dogs are turned into animal shelters
because their previous owners discovered they were not border collie material or because changes in their lives left them unable to care properly for their dogs.

All dogs are up to date on shots and vet checked. We are a no-kill shelter.

The United Maltese Rescue exists to place stray, abandoned and/or unwanted Maltese in homes which will provide
a high level of care and where the spirit of the UMR Code of Ethics is observed. The rescue will assist Maltese
owners, who, for any reason, can no longer provide a home for their dog.

dedicated to teaching the public about retired racing greyhound (and what great pets the make) and finding loving forever homes for them. We also provide long-term
