formerly known as Kent County Border Collie Rescue (KCBCR). We are a not-for-profit organization that is run by volunteers. Fundamentally, Mid-Atlantic Border Collie Rescue
is a haven for Border Collies and dogs of the Herding group that have been discarded, neglected, abandoned or stray. Many of these dogs are turned into animal shelters
because their previous owners discovered they were not border collie material or because changes in their lives left them unable to care properly for their dogs.

- Black Dog, Second Chance - For whatever reason, black dogs don't adopt well in shelters.
They are often overlooked, even though they may be well behaved and friendly, simply for the reason that they are black. Shelters give up on them and they are
euthanized. We pull these dogs from high-kill shelters and rehome them via an adoption process.

- Metropolitan Maltese Rescue

- NYC Shiba Rescue - NYCSR actively works to rescue Shiba Inus
and Shiba Inu mixed breed dogs from dangerous environments and shelters in order to find them loving, permanent homes. We will, among
other things, foster and evaluate Shiba Inus in order to prepare them for adoption and seek out proper adoptive homes for the dogs.

- Stray From The Heart

- Strays from the Heights - We are a NYC rescue group that helps
abandoned and abused cats and dogs find permanent homes. We also assist individuals and families who want to re-home their pets.

Rescues pugs/pug mixes and places them in loving homes, hand picked. Each pug rescue is individually loved and cared for in every detail, and no expense is
too great. We are a non-profit organization as well so any donation is tax-deductible and much appreciated.

This is done by learning about you and your family through an Application for Adoption which helps JRRNY to find the JRT for your family. Open May through October.
