This SmartyKat pet bed is filled with EcoRest, an manufacturer-exclusive recycled fiber fill blend made from postconsumer recycled plastic bottles.

Recycle - Americans consume more than 70 million plastic bottles of water a day. The people at SmartyKat use these recycled bottles that would otherwise head to landfills and use them to create EcoRest fiber filling.
Refine - Recycled plastic is cut into small pieces called "flake." The flake is heated to form pea-size pellets which are spun while heated (something like cotton-candy) to create fluffy EcoRest.
